Dear Little Man,
Tonight, I snuggled you for the last time as a wild and crazy two year old. I started this blog to keep track of your life, but unfortunately, I have been terrible at keeping it up! I have missed writing down so much, but it has been hard to take time when we are always watching your next adventure.
You are so full of life, and it has been fun to experience each new adventure through your eyes. You still love "Frozen," but you have expanded a bit. You are totally obsessed with "Jake and the Neverland Pirates," and you want to watch it all the time. You are also starting to like "Doc McStuffins" as well. We have moved on from "Let It Go," but we didn't go on too far since your new favorite song is "Open Door." You especially love to do the heart part of the song. You still love your stories each and every night, and we love watching you try to read books on your own and making up your cute little stories! You also love "Cinderella," and movies seem to be the best snuggled from time to time in the big bed.
You are definitely all boy! Everything is about cars, knights, dragons, and outside. If you could spend all day outside, you would. You want to go out and play with your ball or ride in your wagon. You finally got around to being able to run, and you remind me of Aunt Em when she first started running-you must run everywhere! Lucky for Daddy and me, you still want to be held and snuggled. However, I think the days of taking naps on Mommy are numbered because your little feet are almost to my shins now! I will be sad to see that day come; for now, I just enjoy the weekends when we snuggle down to watch "Fantasia" during nap time.
You are so full of personality. You love to talk all the time to Daddy and me, but sometimes you are still a bit shy around people. You seem to pick-up new words all the time, but your favorite word right now is nipples. You also are starting to discover the joys of nakedness since you have gotten around to learn how to take your clothes off. You moved to Miss Lauren's class late this spring, and you seem to be doing well. You love to do show and tell, and you are starting to pick it out rather than Daddy and me doing it. You love to get hugs and kisses and are so affectionate to us. You are quite a ladies man already, too, much to the chagrin of me. All the little girls at day care are in love with you, and you go around saying you have your girls. There is one particular little girl at school that you gallantly tried to protect, and she is now your princess. It is really very adorable. You also have definitely gotten my stubborn streak! Once you have your mind made up, you are set on this path. This year was the first year you told us what you wanted for your birthday-pirates all around! You were also obsessed with your first holiday, Christmas. You were into everything especially Santa; in fact, you saw him 5 times this year!
I am not sure what tomorrow will bring. You were a bit under the weather and had a fever when you went to bed. I hope that you feel good better tomorrow so we can have some fun going to the playhouse museum. We are also crossing our fingers about your birthday as it is supposed to rain when we are having an outdoor birthday party . We love you so much my bugga!
Mommy
